The stacked layers of ossified policy and procedures that run civilization, aka The Predicament, it is a magnificent horror to behold. And yet every day there are more smart people voicing their opinions on what needs to be realized by policy makers, what needs to be accomplished by 'society' to change our trajectory. What makes us here so different, that we comprehend this intractable sticky wicket? It is equally frustrating to see those who proceed with business as usual, and hear those who suggest impossible vectors of solution.
