"New data shows that winds in the recent Greenfield, Iowa tornado surpassed 300 mph, marking only the third time that scientists have calculated wind speeds that high within a tornado."

Another day, another record!

This is the asinine corporate report!

“Another day, another record!”

That says it all, Kevin, in four words. My response: This is fine.

“Trees are ‘coughing’ as they’re struggling to keep up with the sheer amount of heat-trapped carbon dioxide in the air.” Photosynthesis stops at a temperature of about 37°C +/- depending on stressors like contemporaneous drought.

Many of us have been concerned recently about people dying in their thousands at the Haj after hitting their "Wet Bulb Limits" and people literally cooking to death in heatwaves, mostly the poorest of us, but all the other animals are an issue for me also, especially the billions who are prisoners!

There has been a noticeable acceleration in records being smashed not just broken, that's intrinsically linked to the six dozen "Feedback Loops" we have triggered. See Guy's monster Climate Change

Summary with its own tab at the top of the blog!

On March 17, 2021, Guy published an analysis of peer reviewed papers that contend that the Amazon Forest have become a net CO2 emitter: "Science Update: Amazon Rainforest Warms Earth"

I'll post that link below for further reference.

Thank-you for your informed commentary, Kevin, as always. People are dying on this overheated planet. It’s long past time for the corporate media, government officials, and paid climate scientists to sound the alarm. Thank you, too, for restacking my post.
