Reminds me of the line from Kellyanne Conjob, “alternative facts”. Is it a symptom of brainrot to say “I seen a batbird flying by the other day”? I guess it’s just language evolving to say “I seen”, instead of “I saw.”

If so, it means that reality is unfailingly depressing. I think that the negativity is deliberate, that all goodness and altruism is being targeted.
