Wikipedia reports that in 2012 Guy McPherson predicted the "likely" extinction of humanity by 2030 because of habitat distruction caused by the climate crisis. In 2018 he said that extinction was possible by 2026 considering projections of climate change and species loss.

Today, Richard Crim released Crisis Report 60. (https://open.substack.com/pub/richardcrim/p/the-crisis-report-60) Crim examines the data that shows the increase in heat almost unbelievable. He concentrates on the rise in heat in the earth's oceans. He notes that the deployment of the"ARGO network of automated observation floats we have comprehensive 'real time' information on the amount of HEAT in the OCEANS and how FAST it is INCREASING". The data shows that "the heat stored in the upper 2,000 metres of oceans increased by +15 zettajoules in 2023 compared with that stored in 2022". To make the data more understandable it is frequently expressed in terms of HIROS - Hiroshima class atomic bombs. The ENERGY flow into the Oceans increased from 5 HIROS per SECOND in 2010 to 15 HIROS per SECOND in 2023 or 473,040,000 HIROS per YEAR . With such large increases in energy Crim now predicts the human race will be extinct by 2035. Along the way Crim also finds that NASA & NOAA are now saying that the oceans have warmed by +9 zettajoules in 2023 while scientists in the rest of the world find that the true number is +15 zettajoules.

Mr. Crim explains some main concepts in his report in this VIDEO:

"Uncharted Territory "is the expression that disturbs this sailor the most.

Imagine carrying out an uncontrolled experiment with existential risks!

Due to the reference to the IPCC I've added this video to my blog post titled sarcastically". "It’s Time to Acknowledge the Spectacular Success of the IPCC."

Your sarcasm is well warranted, Kevin. The IPCC, paid climate scientists, media personalities, and government officials all belong in the same, lying camp. If any one of them had a conscience, guilt would be a primary emotion!
