"Yet even the IPCC has concluded in its 8 October 2018 report, Global Warming of 1.5o, that Earth in the midst of the most abrupt event in planetary history. Less than a year later, the IPCC Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Planet concluded climate change is irreversible due to an overheated ocean."

Two points I would like to make about the above quote is it's clear that the reduction in Aerosols from bunker fuels has already manifest in ocean warming confirming the potency of the AME, what Dr James E Hansen dubbed "Our Faustian Bargain."

The second point, is more recent pronouncements from the IPCC are much less dire than the vernacular they were using 5 years ago, demonstrating how the narrative is controlled, regardless of recent impacts the effects of triggering 6 dozen feedback loops as documented in Guy's monster "Climate Change Essay" have unleashed.

Two points well made, Kevin. It's almost as if we are amid abrupt, irreversible climate change, as even the designed-to-fail IPCC has concluded.

Thank you for your informed comment, as always. Thank you, too, for restacking my post.

Well, given the enormity of the challenges, a global movement for regeneration seems like the only way forward. It would at least extend the viability of the biosphere. Pls recommend actions you think would be most impactful.

Thanks!

Planetary Hospice is the reasonable path forward. I have described this strategy at guymcpherson.com, as can be seen by using the search box.

Those who control society now speak a language that make "New Speak" in Orwells 1984 world sound logical. Sheer madness drives the collective our extinction is upon us.

Sadly, Craig, I agree. Orwell’s “1984” was—and is—amazing. He claimed he was reporting what was occurring in 1948, when he wrote his masterpiece. Facts or foresight? Either way, it’s a stunning assessment.
