They call economics “the dismal science” with good reason. I would argue it's not science at all. Yet we allowed an economist to dictate our demise.

In a long litany of mistakes that have been made in assessing climate sensitivity perhaps the biggest was allowing an economist to decide how much destabilization of the atmosphere we could "Get away with"!

I've edited Guy's latest analysis into my blog post on William Nordhaus, perhaps the deadliest human to have ever lived.

It turns out that there is no level of destabilization that was safe, fancy that!
