Great subject matter. I have a friend that turned 80 this year and his habit is to urinate in a bucket and deposite it in his garden for the same reasons you talk about and his garden is bountiful. I try to be conscientious about peeing outside directly on the ground where it will do the most good but i often fail miserably. On occasion i have been told thats gross but only by the same people who would sooner piss themselves than go in the woods.

Another aspect of the phosphorous story is the role Aotearoa NZ plays in the pillaging of phosphorous from regions of the Western Sahara that are illegally occupied by Morocco

"How ‘blood phosphate’ has made New Zealand complicit in a foreign war".

Another conflict funded by corporations in NZ.

Phosphate runoff from intense dairy farming is poisoning our rivers and by default our coastlines, another consequence of our folly!
